Franchini Glass Murrina, Moon, set in Modern 18 carats Gold Ring, Murano Venezia
A NEW 18k gold ring set with an ANTIQUE (1843/1845) complex murrina by Jacopo Franchini, mentioned in G. Sarpellon’s book “Miniature di Vetro. Murrine 1838-1924”, Arsenale Editrice, Venezia 1990, page 43, pic. 411. This murrina is known as “quarter moon”.
The setting was made by our goldsmith in 18 carats of gold, and it is resizable.
