Modern Gold Ring set with an Antique Complex Murrina by G.B. Franchini, 1840/1843
A NEW 18k gold ring set with an ANTIQUE (1847/1848) complex murrina of by Jacopo Franchini, mentioned in G. Sarpellon’s book “Miniature di Vetro. Murrine 1838-1924”, Arsenale Editrice, Venezia 1990, page 46, pic.437. It depicts the Rialto bridge in Venice.
The setting was made by our goldsmith in 18 carats gold, and it is resizable.
