This unique brooch has been meticulously crafted by our goldsmith using a piece of an antique Japanese katana (we think kojiri). It features an 18-carat gold mount, and the depicted scene appears to reference an ancient Japanese legend.

This unique brooch has been meticulously crafted by our goldsmith using an antique kanamono,(clasp of tobacco bag).The metal seems to be shakudo an alloy of copper and a small percentage of gold ,blackened by the nitro process.
It features an 18-carat gold mount, and the depicted scene appears to reference an ancient Japanese legend.
