Antique and Rare Double micromosaic. Roma
Beautiful and rare double micromosaic set in blue glass, depicting some Roman ruins (Tempio di Vesta alle cascade di Tivoli, and Tempio della Tosse, Tivoli).
Excellent condition, no tesserae missing, light signs of use. There are two little holes for a mount that allow rotation of the plaque to show both landscapes. Very good level of work.
Please see carefully our pics. Roman school of micromosaic, datable around the half of the 19th century, falls into the category of souvenir of Italy of the Grand Tour.
