Antique Micromosaic Silver Gold Plated Brooch. Rome, 19th century
Antique Roman silver gold plated micro mosaic brooch, very good workmanship, not common for this type of subject, datable to the middle of the 19th century. The micro mosaic depicts a peasant in the typical costume of the Roman countryside. The body of the brooch is silver gold plated, and the micromosaic is set in blue glass.
