Murrine by E. Moretti, Necklace, Murano-Venezia 1920

Art Deco period necklace by E. Moretti. made of 40 beads in one of the most typical Moretti pattern. You could see it, in different shapes, in their book “E. Moretti: Un secolo di perle veneziane”, page 89, picture 98, down left.

An amazing particular: one bead has a different murrina, see pictures 2 and 5.

 
Total length:  52cm.
 
Size of the beads:  lenght from 12mm. to 16 mm., diameter: around 10mm.
 
Hand knotted.
 
Silver clasp new.
