Micro Mosaics
Roman Micro Mosaic, second half of 19th century.
A very beautiful roman micro mosaic, big size, depicting a pastoral scene. Probably inspired to the pictures of Bartolomeo Pinelli, an italian painter (1781 – 1835) who made a lot of pictures representing bucolic subjects.
Extremely fine quality, it presents some very small repairs around the sideline and on the edge of mountains skyline. (see carefully the pictures).
