Beautiful and not small antique blue chalcedony bead. Some surface wear, appropriate to age, this bead comes from Tibet – China, beautiful patina.
This bead could go back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907), or before, because these beads came to East from West (Roman Empire and Persia, sasanian period).
Blue chalcedony has become one of the most sought after beads from antiquity.
