Finest Roman Micromosaic Brooch. Roma, Middle 19th century.

Beautiful micro mosaic brooch depicting a hunting scene, a fox biting a duck. Typical souvenir of the Grand Tour, this micro mosaic could date to 1840/1860.
The condition is really good: no scratches or chips. The mount is in 9 carats of gold, the tiles (tesserae) are extremely tiny, and there are excellent shades of colors.
