Micro Mosaics

Roman Micro Mosaic, the half of 19th century

Remarkable Roman micro mosaic, representing a pastoral life scene, two figures in typical dresses of Roman shepherds and a kid milking a goat. Possibly inspired by the pictures of Bartolomeo Pinelli, an Italian painter (1781 – 1835) who made many pictures of those rustic views.

Good quality.
