Striped Agate not Finished Bead from China-Tibet
Very good quality antique banded agate. This type of bead can be found in the Himalayan regions, like this one, but also in the Persian area.
Ancient, with few nicks and very fine usage patina.
An absolutely natural and marvellous pattern! 3 eyes on one of the tops.
This bead could be dated to the TANG period (618CE – 907CE).
THE PECULIARITY IS THE BEAD IS NOT FINISHED: IT MISSES THE HOLE!
